Forest nurseries are looking for
new markets in addition to their timber revegeta—
tion market. Conservation plantings, as well as
others, are demanding plant species previously not
commonly grown by commercial nurseries. Nursery
managers must be market driven when selecting
plants to expand their product line. Production
strategies must also be considered to maintain
profitability. |
